Trump’s Supreme Court Nominee Neil McGill Gorsuch - Feb 2, 2017

He’s young and in the midst of his 7th soul cycle. What does that mean? It means he is just starting to integrate himself with life. It takes 7 soul cycles to reach this stage of life where you have lived enough life to begin to free yourself from your “should’s”. These are the things that you bought into or what your parents said you should do or society said you should do. It is, in short, the time of stepping out in the world. Each soul cycle is 7 years long and we transition into a more sincere life when we reach the age of 50. Each soul cycle lasts one year. In Neil’s case age 49 to 50.

Walls Can’t Keep Out Consciousness–Finishing America’s Revolution - Jan 27, 2017

Over the eons of time countries have built walls in hopes of saving, protecting or just plain obstructing someone or something from another someone or something. We now walk the Great Wall of China and see it as an historical and architectural symbol. We see walls all over the world as a testimony to a person’s idea of “saving” someone or something. It’s only a matter of time before they weaken, dissolve or crumble away. They are still looking for the Walls of Jericho. Remember the Berlin Wall, it wasn’t brought down by guns and bullets. It was brought down by consciousness and it will be consciousness that will go over, under and through any wall, new or old along the Southern border of the United States.

Blueprint of Kellyanne Conway–Trump’s Counselor - Jan 18, 2017

By now I am sure you have met Kellyanne Conway on most of your major media outlets.  She has been working with him since the summer 2016.  She is the  smart, blonde women who is quick to respond to negative comments about Trump and has been his loyal representative since Ted Cruz lost the primary.

Trump’s Senior Adviser–Jared Kushner - Jan 11, 2017

With all the recent news about Trump’s cabinet picks and their hearings, we are somewhat in the dark about the key person who will influence him during his presidency.  His son-in-law, Jared Corey Kushner, will have his ear and, I would assume his back during his time in office.  Jared has maintained a low profile

America will be fine long term–Get Involved - Dec 28, 2016

Looking forward and looking back are always emphasized at this time of year. The year of the monkey, 2016, certainly was really a doozy. It’s amazing people have much skin left on their hands as there has been so much hand wringing. Gnashing of teeth as well. It has been an exhausting year. It could look as if the sky is falling–but it isn’t. Long term, the United States is going to do very well and future projections look good. We just have some corrections to make as we move forward.

The Invisible System is doing it’s job! - Dec 14, 2016

If you watch the tweets, the fake news, the gnashing of teeth over the electoral college, the heavy white male dominated cabinet appointees, the brash sound bites coming from Trump and other pit bull antics, you would think that the world is just coming off the tracks and we’re going with it. I haven’t seen so much righteousness and self-righteousness since they invented religions. Maybe we should have reconsidered leaving Africa in the first place.

Bibles leaving hotel rooms–Watching a bigger trend - Dec 6, 2016

Even though we may think that the United States is a strong religious nation, there are clues that this has been changing. One of the most obvious clues is the lack of the Gideon Bible in hotel rooms. Just 10 years ago 95% of hotel rooms had the Gideon Bible tucked away in the drawer. Today fewer than 50% of hotel rooms provide a copy. This number is dwindling as the United States changes its focus on becoming more secular. Although 90% of Americans still believe in God, the number is growing for those who state they are not religious and would classify themselves as unaffiliated. (The idea of placing a Bible in the hotel room actually started back in 1899 by two Christian men.) We now have TV, the internet, phones, apps and books (both ebooks and print). Our only choice on a dark lonely night is not just the Bible.

President Mike Pence–Could it be possible? - Nov 30, 2016

As we continue on down the post election road, the new cabinet candidates are waiting in the wings. We’ve seen a few of the waiting workers and those who will surround President Elect Trump as he puts together his team. From what we have seen so far, rather than drain the swamp, he is adding to it. Nearly all of his choices are Wall Street connected, existing members of Congress or large donors to his campaign. Nothing new here, just a different party. Many of those submitted are Tea Party members. Regarding getting rid of lobbyists, those who are existing lobbyists can just de-register as lobbyists, cross over the street and become a consultant.

Abraham Lincoln’s National Thanksgiving - Nov 22, 2016

During these changing times with a President going out and a new coming in, I am reminded of Abraham Lincoln’s wonderful gift of giving us our national Thanksgiving Day. We had, at the time, different state Thanksgiving Days but no national one where all of us could celebrate together. He has left us with not only a wonderful national holiday but many words of wisdom that can be shared down the years. His deep faith in God and his sense of justice for all are a beacon for current leaders and soon-to-be leaders.

During his re-election campaign there were many calls for him to resign and withdraw from the race. He answered it with the following words:

Women Will Continue to Gain Visibility and Power - Nov 16, 2016

If we could see the bigger picture at play, we would see that although a woman lost the election, she did win the popular vote. It was also the first female to head up a national presidential ticket. Whether we voted for or against Clinton, we are moving closer to seeing women in positions of power. The name of the picture is visibility, increased numbers, power and then influence. More women will be needed to step up to the uncomfortable role of leadership. Women will also are learning how to speak up effectively so that they are heard as well as seen.
