Normally during campaigns I have featured the blueprints of the candidates. I have, in the past, done the blueprints of Obama, Trump, McCain and Clinton. I did do Michelle Obama’s as well and I thought it might be interesting to take a look at Melania Trump. We read very little about her and she doesn’t appear to appreciate the limelight of public office.
At times I read an author’s writing and find them worth sharing. This time I have chosen the wisdom of Wallace Wattles. He wrote back in 1911 on the Science of Getting Rich (basis for the book “The Secret”), the Science of Being Great and the Science of Being Well. It is all compiled in his book “The Wisdom of Wallace Wattles”. In fact Wattles was the father of much of the later New Age group think–EST, Mind Spring etc. Since his book was written in 1911, I ask you to excuse the writings of that period where each person is referred to as “him”.
It is going to be 97 degrees in Los Angeles today. It probably will come close to another record temperature.bigstock–196232251 We’ve been doing quite a bit of it this year, and the last 5 years. Yes, the heat is reasonably dry but it is hot and no end in sight going forward to September. We do always get the heat this time of year and by October we have the cooler nights and shorter days and temperatures will come back to the 70’s. This is a predicable cycle and goes on every year. The problem is the cycle starts much earlier and stays hotter longer. We also have year round forest fire season which was unheard of 5 years ago.
If you have thought that this is a very extreme and challenging time for the world, you would be right but we’ve been through this before. It is just another different year, a different cast of characters but a familiar story. The problem is we forget, weren’t born yet, or don’t remember our history. To top it off, we have the big Uranus in Taurus transit which started in late May and continues throughout the next seven years to make sure we shape up and fly right. The last few times we experienced this important transit were 1850 through 1858 and the run up to the Civil War and June, 1934 through May, 1942 for the run up and start of World War II. Needless to say, we should pay attention to this important period as it will bring life-altering changes to our lives.
It’s interesting to notice that the general population invests a great deal of its time dabbling in various professions, seeking direction and guidance from self-help teachers and enlisting friends and family to help in making the decision as to their life purpose. This is one of my most frequently asked questions by my clients. We have gotten so far removed from the natural world and the mystic world of vibrations that the ancients knew so well. There is a great deal of silly out there when it comes to the occult world. There is also a great deal of value in the deeper study of the mystery school information.
This is always a big day to remind us of this great human experiment called America. Many of us don’t really remember why we celebrate it; we chiefly focus on the signing of the Declaration of Independence. But this day, July 4th, 1776 ushered in 7 years of war of which I am sure people probably wondered what it was they were all fighting for. We are told little of the details. This war, however, resulted in the deaths of 5% of the white American males. Women and blacks who also fought were not counted in the final death numbers. It was the costliest war in American history.
“God Bless America. Land that I love. Stand beside her and guide her through the night with the light from above.” The lyrics of Irving Berlin, a Russian immigrant, who wrote many of America’s songbooks. America definitely needs the light from above as she revisits this dark night of her life. Her struggles with immigration have been part of her songbook since she was born back in 1776. We have always wrestled with it. It just depends on your “soup du jour” or soup of the day. Currently it is the “brown skinned” poor coming in from Central America. Several years from now it will be another group. We have always fought over immigration within the country. The more we try to close the doors and put up the fences, the more problems we will create for ourselves. Why? Is it just human nature. “I got mine now you stay out” or is it something more?
The recent deaths of Anthony Bourdain and Kate Spade have brought to the surface the “beast” that lies beneath America’s successful facade of wealth, power and control. Yes, we are successful but we use 75% of the world’s anti-depression medication. Since the late 90’s 25 states have recorded increases of more than 30% in the number of suicides. Increases ranged from 5.9% in Delaware to 57.6% in North Dakota. Death by firearm accounted for 48.5% of these cases (the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). Data from 27 states in 2015 showed that 54% of those who died from suicide weren’t diagnosed with a mental-health condition.
Ten years ago I began writing about the transformation of the United States and the big Pluto in Capricorn heavenly transit. I have often repeated that in order to understand the times and the behavior, look to the heavens. We don’t. Instead, we look to the stock market or we look to the jobs report. We were born as a nation under this transit, 240 years ago and we are back to revisit and experience what we created and how far we removed ourselves from the rails.
Numbers continue to fascinate me and one of the reasons is because they don’t lie and they continue to reveal. We take so many things for granted, especially in the areas of numbers. We have house numbers, phone numbers, birthday numbers, age numbers, numbers in our names, order numbers, weight numbers and grade numbers. They go on and on. Everything is numbered. We live in an order of geometry.
