This hardly takes a thought to picture this event in your mind. It might be daring but you can be sure it would be foolhardy. If a storm is coming and we live near a bayou, we might want to get a large delivery of sandbags versus a smaller delivery. If you have a chronic illness that requires routine medical attention, you might not want to locate yourself too far out in the country where only visiting nurses can assist you. Life does give us opportunities and it is up to us to reasonably assess them and see if they are wise or foolish.

America is Losing Its Happy Face

I remember umpteen years ago the beginning of the yellow happy faces. They were everywhere and still are. Walmart uses it or did as its messaging board. Happy faces are placed after signatures, bills, graded papers and just about everything. But, there is a darker side to the happy faces, America is losing its happiness. Countries are ranked in their happiness quotient and America keeps falling in the category of happiness. We also keep losing in the life expectancy area. In the last three years we have dropped in life expectancy. Cheerful thought!

Little Finland, which has the population of about 5.5 million (and 75% the size of California) is the winner for first place. Followed behind are Denmark, Norway, Sweden etc. America ranks 19th. The 7th Stage of Illness–Arrogance

Years ago I read a very important book by Michio Kushi titled “The Book of Macrobiotics–The Universal Way of Health, Happiness and Peace”. I thought it would be a book on eating a Macrobiotic diet but it was so much more. I highly recommend this book for its great wisdom and unknown information on how the body and environment work. I turn to this book to remind myself of how disease begins.

Religion is Fading as Aquarian Age Rises

Just as 2 tectonic plates rub up against each other, two ages are pushes against each other. One of these is the future force and the other the past. One of the plates is the old Piscean Age that is passing and the other the Aquarian Age that is coming into the present and will stay with us for 2,000 years. The old force, the Piscean Age, is struggling to stay alive but its’ struggle is creating the big shift to the new Aquarian Age. Along with this old Piscean Age goes the characteristics of this age. It has served its purpose and helped us along for about 2,000 years. All You Can Do Is All You Can Do!

Many years ago when I was around 20 or so I remember reading the National Geographic magazine. It was special back then and had great photos from around the world. There was a story about a woman gathering rice in a rice paddy of Southeast Asia. I remember the journalist asking this woman if she was happy. Now the woman lived in a native hut made from local trees. Her life had no running water or any of the conveniences we take for granted. The journalist noted the puzzled look on her face when he asked her this question. She answered that “being happy was something that happened between the time you were born and the time you died.” It happened. It wasn’t a goal. It wasn’t a state of mind. It wasn’t analyzed. Did You Know?

Did you know that the greatest gift given to you here on earth was the gift of life? Life itself was always the present. The rest of the experience here is what you choose to do with it. You can abuse it, waste it, invest it, love it, cherish it, be fascinated by it, indulge it, curse it or just wait it out until you can get out of it. Whatever you choose, it will be yours to do. 2019 Forward Look–A Number 3 Universal Year

What does a Universal Year mean? It is simply the current year, 2019, reduced to the single digit by adding the numbers together. We are, therefore, in a number 3 universal year. Goodbye to 2018 and hello to 2019. I do hope you have created some goals or plans for yourself. Nothing that is too hard or ridiculous to achieve. It can be helpful to write out a plan for the next 90 days. Things work naturally in 3’s.

We can look forward to this universal year as a culmination of the last two years. 2017 was a number one universal year and 2018 was a number two universal year. Getting the House in Order

We normally think of getting our own house in order when we expect guests or we might be in the transition period of a move. It can mean a physical house or a mental/emotional house. We work better and smarter when our house is in order. This can also be applied to the Big House (not prison) but the House of Representatives. As America continues to travel through a “death and transformation period” with Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Capricorn, she has to work on getting her own House in order. This is not what I call a fun time or a funny time. It is a serious time and a time for a reality check. Bird on a Wire–Taking Off

One of my favorite singer and song writers is Leonard Cohen. His haunting songs linger in my head as they do many others. He has a particular song called “Bird On A Wire”. I really can see the bird just perched there before it suddenly takes off for other resting places.

I think in some way, the bird on the wire is the metaphor for the United States right now. It has been on a wire resting, teetering and knowing it can’t stay in that position too long. Last night’s election shows how true that is. We wake up in the morning to a new set of circumstances and a new wire to perch and a new nesting destination. Lessons Learned at 80 Years of Age

No, I’m not 80 yet but if the good Lord is willing, I will be. It is definitely an age of reckoning. It’s the age the young think of as decrepit and the middle age try to push away as much as possible. The main thing to focus on as we age, is what have you learned over this time and what can you contribute to society from all that you have learned.

I have said in previous writings that our Soul assesses itself every 7th birthday and downloads all that it learned during the previous 7 years. It then moves to another state of awareness. This pattern is repeated every 7th birthday beginning at age 7 and will continue to influence you at each important 7 years thereafter. We can be 77 or 83 and go through another Soul cycle. These are very important birthdays.

Preparation for Power–Women begin to replace the old structure

Keep your eye on the prize. Keep your eye on the ball. Stay focused though the slings and arrows are flying. Women are on the march world wide and are an enormous force of change. What you have been watching in Washington during these last few weeks of drama is women speaking out about their own experience of being harassed, marginalized and dismissed. Women are waking up after thousands of years of being considered non-persons, weak and ill-prepared for decision-making positions. Women have been under a patriarchal form of government, religion and cultural mores for thousands of year. It is ending, changing and transforming.

Brett Kavanaugh’s Numerology–very interesting candidate

This is a very significant candidate for the Supreme Court. On the face of it, it would appear the perfect Republican choice. He was born in Washington, D.C. and really never made it any further than working in Washington, D.C. In that regard he is definitely living up to his number 4 destiny number of tradition and order. However, when you look more deeply into his chart, this is a candidate who, after more seasoning on the court, could become the swing voter that prior Justice Kennedy was. The Importance of Recognizing Numbers, Patterns and Cycles

It is going to be 97 degrees in Los Angeles today. It probably will come close to another record temperature. We’ve been doing quite a bit of it this year, and the last 5 years. Yes, the heat is reasonably dry but it is hot and no end in sight going forward to September. We do always get the heat this time of year and by October we have the cooler nights and shorter days and temperatures will come back to the 70’s. This is a predicable cycle and goes on every year. The problem is the cycle starts much earlier and stays hotter longer. We also have year round forest fire season which was unheard of 5 years ago.

We’ve Heard This Song Before

If you have thought that this is a very extreme and challenging time for the world, you would be right but we’ve been through this before. It is just another different year, a different cast of characters but a familiar story. The problem is we forget, weren’t born yet, or don’t remember our history. To top it off, we have the big Uranus in Taurus transit which started in late May and continues throughout the next seven years to make sure we shape up and fly right. The last few times we experienced this important transit were 1850 through 1858 and the run up to the Civil War and June, 1934 through May, 1942 for the run up and start of World War II. Ten years ago I began writing about the transformation of the United States and the big Pluto in Capricorn heavenly transit. Numbers continue to fascinate me and one of the reasons is because they don’t lie and they continue to reveal. We take

so many things for granted, especially in the areas of numbers. We have house numbers, phone numbers, birthday numbers, age numbers, numbers in our names, order numbers, weight numbers and grade numbers. They go on and on. Everything is numbered. We live in an order of geometry.

One of the most fascinating numbers is your license plate number. Most of our license plate numbers seem random to us. The DMV gives us a license plate and voila, you have your number.
