Progress Involves Risk–You Can’t Go Backwards

“Progress involves risks.  You can’t steal second base and keep your foot on first.”  Freddie Wilcox, English footballer

I have been listening to all this head talk about returning to the good old days of jobs, apple pie, church and men Autonomous 3d red word with wheels or tires to illustrate a selfwearing hats and women wearing dresses.  We were prosperous then, or so the story goes in Washington.  We were great, we were number one.  We now have politicians telling us they can help us return to these wonder years of every able bodied person having a good paying job and being able to buy the house with the white picket fence and a dog named Spot.

Unfortunately, the days of the past are just that, they have passed.  A new world is in the making.  The old one is dying.  The politicians in power are pretty much out of touch with America, hence, both political parties are quite dysfunctional …

Why Affirmation May Not Work–The Magic Number 7

Over time I have observed many people writing out affirmations, repeating affirmations and burning paper with their

affirmations.  I guess that’s to symbolize sending off the affirmation into the ethers where it can be blended with spirits or spirit.  It looks to me like many people put their trust, faith and hope into affirmations.   New Thought groups, churches and other houses of worship are big on sponsoring classes on prosperity and other forms of abundance.   It seems they are always chasing down money and miracles.  I have also done my share to create affirmations.  I thought I did a pretty good job.  Why didn’t they “come true”?  What happens to all those aborted affirmations?  Is positive thinking enough?  Have we become a country of “pastor-preneurs”?  Why are prosperity classes such “money-makers”?  Pardon the pun.  Why are those who attend prosperity classes short on prosperity?

The answer may lie in the …

“The most people can do is sometimes not to be as weak as they’ve been at other times.”  Angus Wilson, English writer

We all have life path numbers.  This is also true of cities, countries, states, corporations, houses of worship etc. Number 5 and stars The date of birth, the date of statehood, the date of incorporation, the date of occupancy for a new house are all examples of the life path number of that entity.  Normally, we only look at our own life paths.  We want to know  our major learning lessons and our timing of life events.  The same is true of a country and a state.

The United States was born on July 4th, 1776.  The sum total of its’ birth date is 7 + 4 + 1+7+7+6 = 32…3+2 =5.  America has a 5 life path.  It is a catalyst of change.  The number 5 is always about change, freedom, …

Your Address Can Change Your Life

“The show doesn’t go on because it is ready; it goes on because it is eleven thirty.”  Lorne Michaels, creator of Saturday Night Live

Many people contact me with questions regarding their address, a house or apartment they plan on

buying or moving into and the best address for their business.  I almost feel like I should do a class on addresses alone.  For all of you who contact me regarding your address, please be aware that an address could be great for one person and just awful for another.  When speaking of an address, I am only speaking about the numbers on the house, apartment or office.  Please note, that the address on the unit of the condo, apartment or office space is more important than the general overall address of the building.  For example the address might be 1000 Main Street but your unit or office space …
