In 2020, the world moved into a gradual feminine energy and focus for the years 2000 through 2999. This is a long 1,000 year process and will be launching a rise in female power around the world. The number two is a feminine number. (The number one is a masculine number.) I say it is gradual as it seems barely recognizable. It is until you look at the advances women are making in the world. As of early 2026, over 25 countries have women serving as Heads of State or Government, including Giorgia Meloni (Italy), Mette Frederiksen (Denmark), Claudia Sheinbaum (Mexico), Maia Sandu (Moldova), Samia Suluhu Hassan (Tanzania), and the Prime Minister of Japan is Sanae Takaichi. She is first female Prime Minister in Japan’s history. Notable recent leaders include Angela Merkel (Germany) and Jacinda Ardern (New Zealand). Remember today’s Middle East did not have a Renaissance as did Europe. It will come. (Europe had a good 300 to 400 years of a Renaissance)
We will have more power as we move into the power years of the middle-aged women. We are in the Li Period of the I Ching. The 9th Feng Shui Period, officially starting in 2024 and lasts 20 years, is governed by the 30th I Ching hexagram, Li (離 – Fire/Rotating Sun). This period, known as the “Age of Fire,” signifies illumination, technology, and intense cultural changes, with themes focusing on the middle-aged woman, mental clarity, and power struggles. (The Feng Shui Society). This important period will see a rise in concentrated female energy as it brings more women into the political arena. There are actually 20 years of preparation, 2000 to 2024, peak power 2024 to 2044 and assimilation of this power into society, 2044 to 2064. It seems to be moving at a snail’s pace but as in so many societal changes they begin slowly and then you wake up one day and the change is an everyday occurrence. (Remember, the focus is on women in their 40’s and beyond.)
It can seem as if the male dominance and fight clubs are making the headlines. As the extreme bite of the scorpion is in the ending tail, we are experiencing the weakening of the old male patriarchy and the ending stings of the scorpion. The 1000 years of the long lasting leadership ended when we crossed out of the 1900’s. We are watching old male power players being replaced by a younger generation. Questions must be asked as to where are the women stepping up to lead the nations.
It is important to realize that political positions require the least amount of education and are the easiest to enter. A person with only a high school diploma can run for office. Unlike many of today’s positions which require some skills, people running for office need only have the desire, the network and the ability to convince others to donate to them and their cause. Timing helps as well but requires no certificate or degree. Having said this, it important for women to realize this is the easiest position to grow power. Women have the management skills, are responsible for households and are great in networking. They are the conscience of society.
It is important to put more women into office as the power equation needs balance. Leadership is best when one gender hasn’t cornered the market. Without the power to direct and influence, women will be reluctant to claim agency. Without agency, we hold back those who want to be heard and considered. Instead of taking workshops and seminars on coaching and career choice, we need to build real street skills. These would include how to negotiate, how to have clear objectives, strategy and tactics, how to train your voice for attention and delivery so your words are heard. Another suggestion for women is to start local. Positions of power begin with humble roots. Try the school boards, city councils, community colleges. Train yourself for the skills of power. Get comfortable with speaking to audiences. Have a cause. There is nothing that can stop an idea whose time has come. The time is now. By 2032, I would expect to have at least one strong female presidential figure. Pay attention to strong females whose lifepath in numerology is the number 5. This will be a new, most likely unexpected woman. Remember, we just began this powerful time period in 2024. Women must get comfortable with power, get groomed for it and use it wisely.

This 1000 year period is more than voting for a politician. It is delivering an energy that is more cooperative, more persuasive, more compromising and a more balanced energy than a one sided male energy power. America, as a catalyst of change for the world is an active leader in helping the world adjust to the more intuitive side of its nature. This strong Li period of the I Ching doesn’t just bring more of the female energy into the political arena but in all segments of human life. Currently, there is a male dominance of power in worldwide leadership. Balancing it out in the governmental roles helps create the balance in society. Whether one votes for a female or a male, is not the question. The balance of having both energies in a decision is where we are headed.
I don’t care whether a politician is male or female. I vote depending on if they agree with my political positions and whether they can do the job. I don’t vote based on sex or race.
We have Katie Porter running for the governor of CA. She can’t stand the pressure of difficult questions and thinks she doesn’t need any Trump voters to get elected. She is a disappointment.
Gail – thank you for another insightful blog. It’s encouraging to see all the women who have stepped up to the plate in government with more to come in the future. Thank you.
