Aging Out–Living Well to Age 120

Today’s news covers a growing world-wide concern of a world’s population. Although most of the articles and conversations are about China’s drop in population, the developed democracies are in much the same boat as China. Aging demographics are a seen as a source of national weakness. The industrialized countries are expected to age substantially in the decades ahead. Source of information on this issue can be found at https://ourworldindata.org/ .

If countries are smart, they will replenish their young populations with immigration. Of course, domestic political reluctance can be overcome but it is only a stop-gap measure. Even Africa’s population is falling at an accelerated pace. In 1990 the average African woman was expected to have 6 children. Today that is down to 4 and the drop is accelerating. What Are Your Career Plans for Ages 60 – 90?

I listen to the reports of retirees returning to the workplace again. I hear bragging points of people retiring at ages 45 to 50. I have said in previous writings that our Soul assesses itself every 7th birthday and downloads all that it learned during  the previous 7 years.  It then moves to another state of awareness.  This pattern is repeated every 7th birthday beginning at age 7 and will continue to influence you at each important 7 years thereafter.  We can be 77  or 83 and go through another Soul cycle.  These are very important birthdays.

This post is not, …

Create Your Own Business–Especially as You Get Older

This is such a great time to create your own business and brand.  Society will look at this time period and realize it was

the Age of the Entrepreneur.  With manufacturing jobs and government jobs shrinking, the work force is in complete chaos as it shrinks in some areas and specializes in others.  We are not becoming a worker-less society but it can sure look scary as we see our old positions taken over by technology.  Even this morning’s radio program was talking about letting go of more grocery clerks at the check out stands and using the scanning machines to check yourself out of the stores.

The grocery chain “Fresh and Easy” is completely automated with a few people standing by the check out stands to assist you if you have a problem scanning your groceries.  It has been successful in teaching us the wave of the future.  More …
