We keep relying on this place, planet earth, to come through for us. Sometimes it does and sometimes it just won’t or can’t. I remind myself and others that we can use this world, level of existence or plane of existence but we can’t depend upon it. It is man-made. Of course, not the planet itself, but the life living upon it. We still think we can control it. Man-made laws, rules and customs are always changing. We bought lots of tech stocks at inflated prices expecting them to just keep going up. When the reversal came this year, people hung on waiting for them to behave as before. People think they are in control. They can rely on that pension, that 401K fund, the equity in their house, the crops, the tourist industry or whatever industry. All you can do here is use the time as wisely as possible …
