The World is Not Wrecked
If we read the headlines and listen to social media, politicians, “influencers”, religious leaders and those who scream the loudest (or act the most outrageous), you would think the world is like a wrecked ship. It is on its way to crashing on the shore or sinking to the bottom. The world, though, is not wrecked. Imagine it as a sailboat going back and forth (tacking) as it moves forward. It looks sometimes as if would bite the dust as it leans into a wave. Just like that boat, we continue to move forward, screaming and yelling. We are learning how to steer and gradually, we will, in due time, come into more harmony.
