When reading this, it is challenging to listen or watch social media and political performers. Did someone in the higher levels of the inner planes create these nut jobs and camera-ready public takedowns? I like to rephrase that by saying that “it is God disguised as a political actor”. It can be discouraging to look at today’s headlines and believe that we are becoming more enlightened or more rational in thinking. We are but we are being tested with our priorities and our value system in making this country become more dedicated to its ideals.
We need to keep a few thoughts in mind. The current tenant in the White House is limited to only 3.5 years of his lease. The United States lives well beyond this short-term lease. Much of what is going on both economically, socially and institutionally is a break up of old patterns that needed change or correction. Much of it won’t stick or will be changed in four years. There is an art form to change as we are finding out. It can come gradually, suddenly, be done well or done poorly. The personality of the current occupant in the White House has a tendency to overreach and that will be more obvious as the year goes on. Much of what is being done is simply more “executive orders”. These are not Congressional orders of staying power. They can be paused or stopped by the courts and usually die when the tenant moves out of the House. They can cause extreme havoc while they are in effect but they usually don’t have legs. Due to the fact that the President is following Roosevelt’s 100 days model, we have seen an abundance of these executive orders during the first 100 days of this administration. It’s called flooding the zone and distracting. It is also known that the tenant has really only a short period of time to get orders out there before the opposition is in place. The opposition is in place.
Once corrections are made and the orders are overturned, America will be on a more even playing field. It takes time and America was scheduled to go through this correction at this time. Trump is no accident. He was the person to disrupt. Now we go through the next few years and modify existing models without the fanfare. Once we leave the 2020’s, we will have a tremendous awakening and about-face to what we are now experiencing. It seems like we won’t make it that far or the money will run out or the creek rises. We will make it. We need to decide how we want to conduct this nation and regain its Soul. America’s karmic wound is always about learning to be an individual in the collective. Our internal arguments are always about a person’s rights versus the group’s rights. It is both our greatest challenge and our greatest responsibility to understand the “other”, to hold multiple viewpoints together at once and find a way to make them work. It is a balancing act between the individual and the collective.
In America’s astrological chart, her Saturn, also known as the Lord of Karma, is in the sign of Aquarius (remember we were founded to usher in this new Age), “This denotes opposition to the forward looking measures and the idealism belonging to the New Age…..and squares pointing to the conflicts that arise between the champions of the old and the established on the one hand and the new and untried on the other; also the ever recurring struggle between the classes and the masses.” Corrine Heline, America’s Invisible Guidance. Thus we continue to have the struggle between groups as a part of our nature. Look at her history. It is a story of the old guard trying to maintain the traditional and the new trying to bring forth the new changes. Our struggles today are about keeping or returning to the old ways and removing people, laws, books and more that represent a threat to the old. Do not be fooled by political performers. We are operating at a much higher level than tariffs, drones and interest rates. We are still in the beginning phases of our destiny.
Our destiny is but half fulfilled. So far we have brought a new measure of freedom and cooperation to our own boundaries. People want to keep coming here for freedom. We are at the beginning of a new phase for America. “The Soul of America cannot be satisfied with such self-accomplishment alone; her call is to larger world service. It may be hard to digest the idea that America is on her path warts and all. We are still moving forward and will be a beacon for others. We will have to make corrections in our laws and our behavior but we will use more rational thinking as we go deeper into the Aquarian Age. Ages last approximately 2100 years so we cannot judge our results for several more years. This is the Age of Enlightenment, rational thinking, diminishment of man-made religions, diminishment in superstition and great advancement in science and technology. The 30’s will have many, many scientific breakthroughs. Do not lose hope or faith.
In the words of Thomas Paine, the great apostle of liberty from the Revolution and author of “Common Sense”, “The birthday of the new world is at hand. There has not been a like condition since the days of Noah. It is in our power to begin the world all over again.”
Thanks for this Gail. I do depend on your insights. This article does indeed reinforce what I’ve been thinking – that we are but at the beginning of an important new Age, and that America is still working through her destiny as a Thought Leader in the world to come.
