What is the Driver of America’s Behavior

If you look at America’s history, you see major defining moments when it seemed the potential for complete collapse of the democratic experiment was close at hand. We were born in revolution with a violent war preceded by protests and riots against the oppressive laws of King George. The revolutionary war and its’ aftermath was violent and heart wrenching. The loyalists to King George were people without a country. They were looked upon as traitors to the new nation and unwanted by the British themselves. These were trying times in the 1780’s. America was truly inventing itself out of bravery, and the need for freedom in all areas, especially speech and religion. This period would set up the ongoing 80 year cycle of America reinventing itself in order to get rid of old patterns that no longer served itself.

It was during this Revolutionary War period that America was inhabited …

Is the Empire of the United States ending?

I have always been intrigued by the history of empires as well as the history of ancient civilizations that have been forgotten or barely studied. If we read these histories, we begin to see a pattern of civilizations that were very advanced even to the point of using ancient high tech. Of course, it is easier to trace empires that have been in existence over the last 4000 years. When we do, we see the pattern of each lasting no more than 250 year. Even as the Assyrians could only advance with spears and walking as their main tools of warfare, they lasted about the same amount of time as more advanced empires. The British empire lasted 250 years with large ships, cannons, guns and more modern warfare. They conquered more land and countries but still lasted the same amount of time.

One of my favorites authors is Sir John …

The Peace of Wild Things

by Wendell Berry

When despair for the word grows in me

and I wake in the night at the least sound

in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be.

I go and lie down where the wood drake

rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.

I come into the peace of wild things

who do not tax their lives with forethought

of grief. I come into the presence of still water.

And I feel above me the day-blind stars

waiting with their light. For a time

I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.…

Where is Our Modern Day Abraham Lincoln

As we move from day to day fixated on the man-made world and our house payments, inflation, tariffs, loneliness and fear, we forget our connection to the Sacred, Eternal and Divine. We forget that all of this stuff is stuff. We forget that our time here is a culmination of decisions we made or didn’t make, love or lack thereof, disconnect from our source and amnesia of our plan for our life. We have allowed ourselves to be seduced by urgencies versus importance. We mistake money for piece of mind. We operate on a competitive level instead of a creative level.

We have no enlightened leader. We have competitive individuals who have cut themselves off from the Sacred, Eternal and Divine and, therefore, can only lead based on winning, In studying Abraham Lincoln, one realizes how lucky we were to have him save us from ourselves and and who operated …

It Came to Pass

We are being consumed by threats to democracy, deportations, tariffs, conspiracy theories, Ukraine, Gaza, price of tomatoes and government layoffs, corruption, abuses of power and on and on and on. We think we are stuck in a downward spiral run off of relevancy by AI and drowning in social media. But, hark, a light shines on the hill!! America handles this drama well. It looks like we will never have our normal back or even our less than normal back. Instead we are experiencing the necessary shakeout while we create new or modify our existing institutions. It is an extreme shake out but this is what we do every 80 years. We are looking at what we have created since the end of WWII. This includes all the agencies created since that time, including the social programs we have created, the economic as well as the financial programs we have …

From Headline to Headline

I have headline fatigue. Every day is another urgency or scare. What will happen due to the chaotic tariff situation? Immigrants locked up in more detention camps, price creep on food and services, doctors dropping out of Medicare, podcast crazies, crude, rude and vulgar behavior, flooding in Texas, heat wave, fires and droughts. Sounds like the sky is falling chicken little. It would appear so. It overwhelms people and leads to complacency.

This year and next are extremely hard for Americans. We just didn’t think we would have all this coming at once. BUT, we did vote a person who reflects our society. So, we will make it through all of this and more until we reach the end of 2028. Things don’t last forever–well death and taxes do–so this won’t last either. We just have to be wiser in our decisions and follow our own personal year energy and …

America Struggles to Honor It’s Destiny

I keep striving in my mind to keep America’s greater plan in place. Today I was in a car search near my same busy route home from shopping. They are grabbing people out of cars or walking in a parking lot. When you hear that they (ICE) and Border Security are capturing criminals, think twice. Most of the people caught up in their stings are just going to work or schools or doctor appointments or coming home from the stores. Most do not have any criminal records. Even my daughter, who is Vietnamese and came on the famous Orphan Air Lift 50 years ago, carries her proof of citizenship. She is afraid to walk her dog. Her husband, who was born in the US, has parents born in El Salvador and Guatemala. He has to carry paperwork that shows where he was was born. It is not enough to have …

Whatever Happened to America and the Aquarian Age?

The highest source of national direction comes not from man’s outer government but from an over-shadowing invisible Hierarchy composed of an exalted Brotherhood that has elected to render world service entirely from the higher levels of the inner planes. Under the jurisdiction of such an illumined body occurred the founding and the early direction of the United States of America.” America’s Invisible Guidance by Corinne Heline.

When reading this, it is challenging to listen or watch social media and political performers. Did someone in the higher levels of the inner planes create these nut jobs and camera-ready public takedowns? I like to rephrase that by saying that “it is God disguised as a political actor”. It can be discouraging to look at today’s headlines and believe that we are becoming more enlightened or more rational in thinking. We are but we are being tested with our priorities and …

Pope Leo’s Numerology Blueprint

Robert Francis Prevost, also known as Bob, was born on September 14th, 1955. He has an excellent chart for the career choice in this lifetime. I am not a practicing Catholic but when someone has a blueprint like his, it is a cause for celebration. He is really a decent human being who has a big 11 destiny number from his full birth name. He is a worker of the light and can inspire many others. His ability to channel is a powerful gift. The number 11 destiny is known as the “peacekeeper”. It is the person who can see both sides of an issue. Again, an important quality for the role he plays.

His birth path is the number 7 taken from his entire date of birth. This is the path of the teacher of ethics, the thinker, the scientist, the person who wants to know how …

Brace Yourself

In my zoom programs and earlier posts I have written about these “days of turmoil”. It is easier to write about them than to live them. However, live them we must. What we are experiencing is the slamming together of the big 80 years institutional cycle and the social and cultural 50 years cycle. It is a game changer and we have to decide how we want to play this game. Not only are we watching institutions of our nation built over the last 80 years since WWll but we are also experiencing the ending of the Reagan era than began in 1980. We began this shake up in 2015 when Trump came down the escalator in NYC. It is over by 2033. The hardest years are 2025 and 2026. 2026 should be easier. The next election in 2028 was always the one to watch. The election of 2024 was …

America’s History of Intolerance

AMERICA’S HISTORY OF INTOLERANCE

A prominent American once said, about immigrants, “Few of their children in the country learn English…..The signs in our streets have inscriptions in both languages…Unless the stream of their importation could be turned they will soon so outnumber us that all the advantages we have will not be able to preserve our language, and even our government will become precarious.”

Voicing this grievance was Benjamin Franklin.  And the language so vexing to him was the German spoken by new arrivals to Pennsylvania in the 1750’s, a wave of immigrants whom Franklin viewed as the “most stupid of their nation.”

And still earlier in Pennsylvania, the Scotch-Irish had bred discount, as their penchant for squatting on choice real estate ran headlong against the colony’s founders, the Penn family, and their genteel notions about who should own what.

Often the disdain for the foreign was inflamed by religion.  …

A New Empire in the Making

As we live through the era of shock and awe, it is easy to dismiss these times as chaotic. They are disorderly but not chaotic. It is the natural cycle of change. It includes a quality of destruction and and leveling of the playing field. From all the noise and conflict will emerge a new power. It will take time and we won’t know who that will be at this time. While this is going on, we can expect disorder as being a new normal. Empires last, in general, approximately 250 years. This pattern is well documented throughout history. Some empires shorter, some longer but the average 250 years. The power of the world prior to the American Empire was the British Empire. No one could predict that America would come out of the woods as the next empire. It had been a struggling colony and didn’t really become the …

The Rhythm of America

If you have followed my blogs throughout the years, you have heard me talk about America’s rhythms. She has two of them. One is 50 years in length, the other is 80 years in length. This means that every 80 years and 50 years, you can expect major changes to the status quo in America. At this time, the two cycles are converging which gives even more energy to the changes. Big ones and smaller ones.

It has been almost 50 years since the last 50 year cycle began when Reagan was elected in 1980. It will finish up the end of the 20’s. As you know, during the last 10 years of a 50 year cycle, chaos and breakdowns are normal. The current leadership wants to hold on to its current positions (but can’t really operate effectively). We can name it the Biden/liberal effect but that won’t work. The …

Don’t Take Your Eyes off the Ball

With all the constant bombardment of urgent commentaries and loud talking heads, it is easy to almost drown in verbiage, noise and exhaustion. It will only increase as we move into the chaos of the domestic changing of the guard, too many opinions and anything else that can capture your attention. It is seductive as it sucks you into the latest and sensational sound bite. The whole thing borders on lunacy. People really take the fake and farcical as reality.

We are now in the eye of the storm. Things seem almost normal in their distractions. We may not realize how much energy we have given to the bombardment. We tune in to escape and to self-medicate ourselves. We might focus on more work or other activities that bring us routine. This is well and good but we don’t really focus on the slipping away of the health of our …

Where are the Ladies’ Poker Clubs?

People contact me with the question as to when will women step into their leadership roles. The answer is NOW. It may seem an unreasonable answer in light of the recent loss of a female candidate for the presidency. This is not an indictment of female leadership but a complex issue that needs to be analyzed for its lessons. I have said that the female reclaim to power would begin in the year 2000 and continue for 1000 years. We have a long road ahead.

Inside of this time frame is the current Li Period of the IChing. It is represented by the middle-aged female or the middle daughter. It’s preparation period was 2000 to 2024. Its intensity begins in 2024 and continues to strengthen for the next 20 years to 2044. From 2044 to 2064, its’ leadership is integrated into the society. A few things to remember here: the …

The Same Cycle of Ineffective Presidents

Here we are again. History is repeating itself. None of these theatrics is surprising. We had a tumultuous 70’s. Tumultuous 20’s same is true of the 1870’s etc. We do this every 50 years. The last reign was under President Jimmy Carter. He led under an ending cycle as is Trump. They are ineffective leaders and have short times in office. Those in office in one of these ending cycles receive too much push back and chaos during their presidency. They basically lose their ability to govern. George Friedman is a great source for more information on these big geopolitical cycles

It didn’t matter which of these candidates won. Either one would have been ineffective. One of the forces delivering the pushback was the planetary force of Pluto in Capricorn. It transited back into the corporate/government sign of Capricorn for a critical election period of November 5th. This was just …

Deja Vu All Over Again

Here we are again, another assassination attempt, more historic photos and a continuation of blame, vicious conspiracies and lots of investigations. There is a long list of victims of America’s violent behavior. Candidates both in and out of office are ripe targets. Going back to Lincoln. There have been at least 15 direct assaults on U.S. presidents, presidents-elect and presidential candidates alone; five of them resulted in deaths, according to the Congressional Research Service. We remain true to form. None of what happened in Butler, PA should come as a surprise. We continue with violent behavior and rhetoric. Words matter so I expect there to be more of it in the days ahead.

To top it off, America is going through a very harsh transit that began in August of 2015 (outlier Trump enters as a candidate) and exits America’s birth chart the beginning of the 2030’s. The turmoil will …

The Tsunami About to Hit the USA

While we fritter away our time with social media, 24 hour news blasts and the wringing of hands about the elections, there is a big threat about to hit our shores. It is already apparent but we have chosen to give it lip service if that. It is the global decline in the birth rate. Before you dismiss this idea, there are some thoughts you might like to consider. One of these is the attainment of critical mass. Articles and books are written about the phenomena of aging in America but little to less is being done to address the myriad problems related to this global decline.

Each day in 2024 over 11,000 Americans are turning 65. In 2024 we will have added 4.1 million Americans who turned 65. The surge is due to the Baby Boomer generation, born between 1946 and 1964, reaching retirement age. By 2030, all Baby Boomers …

Relax, It is the 70’s Revisited

We naturally forget past historical times. We remember bits and pieces and forget the whole. History may not repeat itself, but it does rhyme. We might want to look at the period of the 70’s, about 50 years ago. As the United States operates in 50 year cycles, we always want to return to the time period that began 50 years ago and see what led up to that new beginning. To do that, we return to the 70’s. It led up to the Reagan era which began in 1980 and is now ending during the 2020’s. We launch a new cycle in 2030 which ushers in another new 50 year cycle. Just as Jimmy Carter was night and day to Ronald Reagan, so will the next leader usher in this new upcoming cycle.

First we have to get through these 20’s. It is not an easy period but we …

America Winds Down a 50 year Cycle-What to Expect

America consistently lives under large cycles of time. They are the 80 year cycles and the 50 year cycles. Since we entered the year 2020, we have begun to end the last 10 years of the 50 year cycle. This is the ending of the Reagan Era and all that was intended for us to experience during this timeframe. The 50 year cycle prior to this current era began in 1930 and ended with the ending of the 1970’s. You can go back in time every 50 years and see the big changes ushered in by these 50 years cycles.

The prior 10 years to the beginning of a cycle are witnessed by disruption, displays, protests and a redo of the economic and political systems. The 1930’s ushered in the Great Depression and the welfare state. The central government grew in power and services delivered by the government grew as …
