 You Can’t Trust People Over 30????

I remember when I was growing up you would hear the expression “you can’t trust people over 30”.  I did not

have a clue why they said that but I knew what they meant.  I found out later once I began studying Numerology and the cycles of numbers that age 30 is when we cross over out of childhood.  Our childhood officially ends at 30 although looking at some of our older adult behavior, you wonder if some adults ever left it.  This period at the end of the 20’s can be extremely tumultuous as the passage is taken.  Once we arrive in our 30’s we are to be more interested in careers, homes, families and less in tattoos, late nights and morning hangovers.  We are to become more serious about ourselves.  We even talk of wrinkles!

American Spirit–Caution–No Turn–Will Get Ticket

With so many negative and sensational headlines and divisions in today’s society, we might be forgetting the simple signs of cooperation among the citizenry. I am not talking about Amber Alerts (although isn’t that a big sign of Americans helping each other?) and special calls to action for dramatic events of nature. I am talking about the everyday cooperation of people making a living and looking out for our neighbors.

Today’s story in the Los Angeles Times (August 14, 2013), tells the story of an area of Los Angeles that

has been chosen by the Los Angeles Police Department for traffic calming. Traffic calming is essentially rules deployed all across the city in an attempt to reduce cut-through traffic in residential areas.
