Are we going to the edge of the abyss?  We are experiencing mainly negative news because that is the news media focus.  Negative news and crisis is what humans read and the news media gets paid on the number of clicks.  Each day is filled with inflation worries, the war in Ukraine, shortage of workers, mass shootings, unemployment figures, irresponsible governments in both parties,  covid statistics and the shortages of housing.  In the background positive things are happening but our attention is on the less pleasant news in the foreground.

• The 20’s will unfold with some of these negatives sorting out but we can expect going forward corrections will continue to be made.  Living standards will improve during the mid to late 20’s and health innovations will be ongoing.  Many of these will not be reported until some of these current conditions are changed to the positive.  The 30’s  will really change our lives for the better.  We just have to get through the 20’s.

• Much depends what the Federal Reserve  and other central banks do.  How will they tighten the economy and not go too far?

• Will it lead to a recession and if so, what can we expect in a different economic environment?

• All of it is necessary change to correct past errors of judgment.

• Let’s go over a few possibilities and how best to respond to them.
