The world is on a disrupter tear. It is disruption all over the world. This has been in the works for some time and has many causes. One of these being the changeover from an industrial age to a technology age. Land, labor and capital is not enough to succeed today. You must also have “knowledge”. For areas of the world that don’t have knowledge, these areas will wither in progress. We see this quite easily in the United States where the bulk of new jobs and progress is being created in city hubs. t’s interesting to watch the world go through all types of twists and turns as it adjusts to heavenly transits. The big Pluto in Capricorn transit has been haunting our lives since it began in 2008. I have kept the same drum beat rolling that until it was done with us, there would be little peace and sanity. The hardest days were to be 2015 through 2019. The ending would come in 2024. We are right on time!

So much of what is happening around the world has to do with enormous planetary changes that affect us here on earth. It seems hard to believe but all of us are under the spell of the grand transitions that take place in the heavens. No matter how trivial, such as writing checks by hand and mailing them with the post office or using online banking and paying everything through a click on your phone, it is tied to the heavens. I remember umpteen years ago the beginning of the yellow happy faces. They were everywhere and still are. Walmart uses it or did as its messaging board. Happy faces are placed after signatures, bills, graded papers and just about everything. But, there is a darker side to the happy faces, America is losing its happiness. Countries are ranked in their happiness quotient and America keeps falling in the category of happiness. We also keep losing in the life expectancy area. In the last three years we have dropped in life expectancy. Cheerful thought!

Many years ago when I was around 20 or so I remember reading the National Geographic magazine. It was special back then and had great photos from around the world. There was a story about a woman gathering rice in a rice paddy of Southeast Asia. I remember the journalist asking this woman if she was happy. Now the woman lived in a native hut made from local trees. Her life had no running water or any of the conveniences we take for granted. The journalist noted the puzzled look on her face when he asked her this question. She answered that being happy was something that happened between the time you were born and the time you died. What does a Universal Year mean? It is simply the current year, 2019, reduced to the single digit by adding the numbers together. We are, therefore, in a number 3 universal year. Goodbye to 2018 and hello to 2019. I do hope you have created some goals or plans for yourself. Nothing that is too hard or ridiculous to achieve. It can be helpful to write out a plan for the next 90 days. Things work naturally in 3’s.

Sometimes we may not like where we are planted. We find the soil is too hard, the nutrients are lacking and besides, the location doesn’t get enough sun. What we usually do is complain that there is no opportunity here. We say that the weather is awful and the people are too provincial or maybe too liberal. We want to go to the city or maybe we want to go to the country. It doesn’t really matter. You are where you are and you must learn to manage yourself right in this spot. What a thought? Often clients come to me because they want to change locations. They have outgrown an area, a relationship, a job or even a house. All they know is they want change!

This is a very significant candidate for the Supreme Court. On the face of it, it would appear the perfect Republican choice. He was born in Washington, D.C. and really never made it any further than working in Washington, D.C. In that regard he is definitely living up to his number 4 destiny number of tradition and order. However, when you look more deeply into his chart, this is a candidate who, after more seasoning on the court, could become the swing voter that prior Justice Kennedy was. I know the Federalist Society chose him and Trump loves him but his birth chart shows that this man will go through much change going forward and will become more open to the suffering of the human condition.

It is going to be 97 degrees in Los Angeles today. It probably will come close to another record temperature.bigstock–196232251 We’ve been doing quite a bit of it this year, and the last 5 years. Yes, the heat is reasonably dry but it is hot and no end in sight going forward to September. We do always get the heat this time of year and by October we have the cooler nights and shorter days and temperatures will come back to the 70’s. This is a predicable cycle and goes on every year. The problem is the cycle starts much earlier and stays hotter longer. We also have year round forest fire season which was unheard of 5 years ago.

If you have thought that this is a very extreme and challenging time for the world, you would be right but we’ve been through this before. It is just another different year, a different cast of characters but a familiar story. The problem is we forget, weren’t born yet, or don’t remember our history. To top it off, we have the big Uranus in Taurus transit which started in late May and continues throughout the next seven years to make sure we shape up and fly right. The last few times we experienced this important transit were 1850 through 1858 and the run up to the Civil War and June, 1934 through May, 1942 for the run up and start of World War II. Needless to say, we should pay attention to this important period as it will bring life-altering changes to our lives.
